Auto-Provisioning (SCIM)

Use SCIM 2.0 to sync users and teams into Gatana from your federated identity provider

Introduction

SCIM (System for Cross-domain Identity Management) is a standard protocol for syncing users and groups across systems. Gatana supports inbound SCIM; meaning that you can automate your user and team lifecycles in Gatana to keep accounts consistent across platforms. This also means that a user and group will exist in Gatana without even having used it.

Gatana’s inbound SCIM feature supports any client following SCIM 2.0 protocol. The following connection types have been verified working: Okta.

Enabling SCIM

To enable SCIM for your organization:

  1. Go to your organization's settings by clicking on Settings in the left side-menu
  2. Scroll down to SCIM
  3. Check Enable SCIM 2.0
  4. Click on Manage SCIM tokens.. and create a new token
  5. Optional: Configure the deletion behaviour for users and teams

At this point, configure your identity provider with the SCIM URL https://gatana.ai/api/scim/v2 and use the token from Step 4 as Bearer Authorization.
